So usually my family just gets the Garnier Fructis shampoo and conditioner at Sams Club because its a value pack and it lasts awhile, but we always run out of conditioner way before our shampoo is gone. I was at Walmart two weeks ago and picked up the Simply U Moisturizing & Soothing conditioner. I have to be honest I only grabbed it off the shelf because of its packaging and pump.
On the front packaging it says Simply U Moisturizing & Smoothing Conditioner. Helps to strengthen hair and prevent damage. Sulfate & Paraben free. Leaves your hair clean with healthy shine. Contains vitamins & anitoxidants. pH balanced.
On the back it says some of the same stuff as on the front and then: Simplify your life- Nurture yourself.
Nourish Your Hair: What’s the problem? Hair can become dry or damaged form heat or styling, from the friction between curls or thick hair, or simply from being exposed to elements such as the sun and pollution. Simply U for you: Our exclusive moisturizing & smoothing formula is enriched with a special combination of ingredients that help both nourish and protect your hair. The result is moisture balanced hair that stays smooth and protected from frizz causing elements. How to get a good hair day: Simply apply to wet hair & comb through with your fingers. Work through the full length of your hair paying special attention to the ends. Rinse thoroughly. Gentle enough for daily use and for use on permed or color-treated hair.
The bottle I bought is 750 mL (25.4 fl oz) and has a pump for easy product use. I really love products with pumps because when I buy huge bottles of hair product everything works great but once the bottle gets down to half its really hard for me to squeeze the product out due to my hands being super small. I usually end up grabbing the bottles with both hands and try to squeeze it onto my stomach by arching. So basically I’m in the shower bending in weird ways trying to make a table for me to squirt my shampoo or conditioner onto….its bazaar I know. So pump = good.
The actual product feels creamy and smooth and smells lovely. Its got a fruity floral smell. I use about 4 pumps all together, sometimes 5 depending on how dry my hair is. I start at the ends and smoosh the conditioner into my hair and that’s usually about 3 pumps. Then I get 1 or 2 more pumps depending on dryness again and work it into the rest of my hair. I try not to focus on my scalp because it gets oily before everything else. I leave that in my hair until I’m done cleaning everything else…ya know dirty stuff, then I rinse it all out and squeeze all the water out of my hair. Then I just kind of soak up any more water with my towel and let my hair air dry.
I have currently used about 1/3 of the bottle and I really like the way it is working. My hair is really easy to brush after I use this, and most of the time that certainly isn’t the case. My hair smells nice after use and feels nice as well. Once my current shampoo is all gone I think I’ll try the simply u shampoo(also comes in pump form :D). The price on this bottle was about $10 if I remember correctly. The only issue I have noticed is being able to find it. Walmart doesn’t always carry it and sometimes its even hard to find online. So be on the look out!
